The cross country bag XC-530, who's name comes from its light weight (a bit more than a half kilogram) occupies a very little volume in your harness and allows you to protect your glider wherever you land. The bag, made of nylon, has tip reinforcements and the best zip quality. Different colours and sizes available.

The forecast was for northwest winds. The forecast missed the fact that the cloud base would be very high. My task was to get down to the Florida Ridge with my trailer, but I was hoping to fly down while Belinda drove the trailer down. Of course, I would not be around if there was a problem driving the trailer down.
The sky was blue at Quest Air...

We had to leave Quest Air today to head down to the Ridge to get ready for the First Annual Rob Kells Memorial meet. We were sorry to leave because we had such a great experience at Quest Air this year staying there for six weeks.
Quest Air is pretty much self organizing. It's there and some people do some things and some people do other things....

Steve Kroop at Flytec has volunteered to donate $12 per speed sleeves to the US National team for every sale of his Flytec speed sleeves. They are a little more expensive (we got a very special deal) at $45/pair (plus shipping). Find them here: US National team web site.

Most of the pilots in Europe do not like small boots and for that reason we offer a big boot as well, of course the harness does not look as good like with a small boot and also it is getting longer. See the picture of Walter Geppert´s ZDFR, same like in the banner, it has a small boot and fits quite tight and looks much...

We're down to just a few and we're sorry if you didn't get a chance to purchase one of our now to be rare tee-shirts. We have a few tee-shirts and a few speed sleeves in a couple of cloth grocery bags and we are taking them down to the Florida Ridge. We have a bunch of orders that we have to fulfill from what we have in the bags. We expect that...

It's rough getting out of the field. I'm constantly moving my butt from side to side as Rhett powers through the turbulence. It smoothes out a bit over 700' AGL, and we get into some lift upwind at 1,800' where I pin off. The wind is 13 mph out of the northwest and the lift choppy, but it's not a problem to hang on and drift quickly to the...

Comic Sans began fifteen years ago as a project by Microsoft to add a note of informality for its ill-fated computer companion Bob.
But while Bob was euthanized years ago, Comic Sans has remained a staple of faux informality in the computer age, despite a decade-long effort to press the delete key on the comic book-style font. There's...

Paul <<email>> lost the following between Quest Air on highway 33 and somewhere east of the intersection of highway 33 and highway 50.
Aeros Viper Harness Black with no name on the skin. (The sellers probably won't know what the make is.) Icaro 4fight LT helmet, gray and black with a Motocomm headset installed and a kill switch....

The Tree Hugger article
It was one of the most difficult things that I have ever done, but it was also the most beautiful flight I have ever made. It was very cloudy, but after fighting to gain altitude I got over the clouds and cruised on direct solar power, eventually climbing to 13,700 ft. It was amazing to see the peaks of the...

Paul had his harness fall out of the back of his pickup, so he came over to check out the Skyline Zero Drag FR.
You'll notice that it fits him much better, both in the shoulders and in the boot. More pictures and discussion here: http://ozreport.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15757.

Campbell Bowen is going there to kick butt, especially Jim Yocom's. The US National team is going there to fly together and kick the collective butt of all the other "teams" that will form once we get there.
How can you miss a great time in south Florida?
It looks like the US National team members will be giving talks to groups of...

Jeff O\'Brien\'s Rotor harness
Wills Wing Rotor harness site
Nene Rotor dropped off a harness here at Quest Air. It was a duplicate of another made for a Spanish pilot when only one was desired. Here at Quest Air is marked for a pilot 5' 10" to 6', 160-195 pounds. Pretty generic. There were no measurements of me for chest and waist size,...

It is a well-known yet strangely enough more often than not ignored fact, that the top of a nose gets maximum exposure to UV radiation and thus is most likely to develop melanoma (the lower lip is also threatened). Therefore I often wondered about some pilots wearing a full face helmet or a face...
